Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling a head lamp are provided to prevent reduction of a lifetime of a lamp by applying a constant voltage to the lamp. CONSTITUTION: A voltage received from a battery of a vehicle is determined through the comparison with a predetermined reference voltage. A PWM duty ratio of each of left and right head lamps is set. A PWM duty ratio is set by reflecting a drop voltage of an IPM and a drop voltage of a wire between the IPM and the left and right head lamps. The PWM duty ratio is set from 68% to 100% when the inputted voltage is equal to or more than the reference voltage. The PWM duty ratio is set in 100% when the inputted voltage is equal to or less than the reference voltage.
