Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a cerium oxide using an ultrasonic aerosol pyrolysis is provided to make manufactured cerium oxide in regular shape and nano size. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a cerium oxide using an ultrasonic aerosol pyrolysis comprises the next step. Starting solution is made by adding cerium complex compound, which is source solution for synthesizing ceria(CeO2) powder, and alkaline salt in solvent. The starting solution is supplied to a sample chamber(110). The starting solution is activated in droplet state using ultrasonic wave. The carrier gas is supplied to the sample chamber. Liquid droplet is sprayed to a furnace(150) which is heated in advance. The liquid droplet is thermally decomposed and oxidized in the furnace. The ceria(CeO2) powder, sampled from the furnace, is heat-treated under oxidizing atmosphere in the temperature higher 400°C but lower than the melting point of alkaline salt.
