Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An image registration method of a portable terminal and apparatus thereof are provided to increase the convenience of a user and to simplify a procedure by combining a plurality of images in a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(300) decides a plurality of images for image registration. An image matching unit(322) matches a plurality of image peripheral regions. A camera unit(310) takes a photograph of an image controller according to the control of the control unit. A storing unit(330) stores the image according to the control of the control unit.
