Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: The arrangement of a salt pond is provided to improve the efficiency of an evaporating operation by enlarging the area of a stepped part located at the center part of an evaporating pond. CONSTITUTION: The arrangement of a salt pond includes an evaporating pond and a crystallizing pond. The evaporating pond is divided into multi-stepped parts. The crystallizing pond is divided into multi-stepped parts and is located at the lower stepped part of the evaporating pond. The areas of the stepped parts of the evaporating pond and the crystallizing pond are varied. The area of the crystallizing pond with respect to the area of the evaporating pond is 1/4 to 2/5.
