Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: An oil seal of a valve body for a steering gear is provided to prevent noise due to friction by providing a continuous lubrication film between a shaft and an oil seal. CONSTITUTION: An oil seal(100) of a valve body for a steering gear comprises a shaft(210) and a housing. The shaft is formed to be able to rotate. The shaft is inserted into the housing and oil is supplied to the housing. The housing has a cylindrical shape. The valve body is inserted between the housing and the shaft to prevent the leakage of oil. A main rib makes contact with the shaft and is inwardly protruded from the circumferential surface. One or more auxiliary ribs are located on the side of the main rib and are inwardly protruded from the circumferential surface.
