Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A washing machine and a control method thereof are provided to dry the inner portion of the tub by easily cleaning the tub. CONSTITUTION: A user selects his/her desirable tub cleaning course, and a control unit of a washing machine senses the selection of the tub cleaning course(S310). The cleaning unit supplies the washing water of a predetermined water level to the inner portion of the tub. Through the operation of a drum at a predetermined speed, the control unit cleans the tub(S350). The control unit heats the air inside the tub by driving a heater, and rotates the drum during the driving operation of the heater(S360).
