SUBMERGED NOZZLE CHANGING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A submerged nozzle replacing apparatus for a thin slab continuous casting plant is provided to enable the replacement of a submerged nozzle since a standby submerged nozzle is tilting-rotated and is separated from a joint member. CONSTITUTION: A submerged nozzle replacing apparatus for a thin slab continuous casting plant comprises a joint member(100) and a tilting unit. The joint member supplies molten steel within a tundish(10) to a submerged nozzle(20). The joint member is placed on the lower part of the tundish to be tilting-rotatable. Multiple submerged nozzles are detachably coupled with the lower part of the joint member. The tilting unit is placed on the lower part of the tundish. The tilting unit tilts and rotates the joint member. The joint member is formed into a sphere shape. The joint member is accepted into a case(200) to be rotatable. The case is placed on the lower part of a sliding-gate(50).
