CONFOCAL MICROSCOPY

PURPOSE: A confocal microscopy is provided to help a user to monitor the inside of a living tissue by using an optical disk module to scan an Y-axis and a Z-axis at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A confocal microscopy includes a light source, a collimation lens, an optical fiber, a rotary mirror of a galvano mode or an MEMS scanner, an optical disk module, a polarization beam splitter, and an optical detector. The rotary mirror and the MEMS scanner reflects light passing through an optical fiber by 45 degree to scan the X-axis of a sample. The polarization beam splitter reflects the light reflected from the sample or scattered light by 90 degrees through the optical fiber.
