Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A rubber composition for a tire is provided to ensure low heat generation and to enable use as an under tread rubber compound for bus and truck tires. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for a tire comprises, based on 100.0 parts by weight of base rubber, 1~20 parts by weight of micro talc with an average particle diameter of 4.5~9 micron. A natural rubber, synthetic rubber, or a mixed rubber of the natural rubber and the synthetic rubber are used as the base rubber. The micro talc is a nonmetallic hydrated magnesium silicate mineral with a specific gravity of 2.65~2.85 and heat loss of 1.2 % or less.
