Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A coffer dam device for repairing a ship, capable of improving the accessibility, and a ship repair man method using the same, is provided to perform the repair work for a ship right after defects are generated without special docking for repair. CONSTITUTION: A coffer dam device for repairing a ship comprises a coffer dam unit(1) and a pressing unit(50). The coffer dam unit selectively faces to the defect site of a ship. The coffer dam unit includes a work roll through which an operator can enter in order to reach the defect site of the ship. The pressing unit selectively adheres closely the coffer dam unit to the ship. The coffer dam unit comprises a body, a task opening and a drainage member. The body is exposed to water surface. The drainage member is installed in the other end side of the body inside. The drainage member comprises a drainage pump or a drain plug pumping out the water flowing in a work path. The water flowing in the work path is out drained.
