Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling the temperature of sintering waste gas are provided to efficiently remove SOx and NOx from sintering waste gas in an activated charcoal absorption facility. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling the temperature of sintering waste gas comprises a temperature sensing part(1), a control part(2), and a cooling part(8). The temperature sensing part senses the temperature of sintering waste gas. The control part controls so that cooling water is sprayed when the sintering waste gas temperature is over the reference temperature. The cooling part comprises a cooling water valve(3) which controls the flow rate and pressure of cooling water, an air valve(4) which controls the flow rate and pressure of air, and a mist spray(5) which sprays cooling water mist to a sintering waste gas duct using the cooling water and the air.
