Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A composition for covering an electric wire is provided to manufacture an electric wire with excellent durability, resilience, heat resistance, and fire resistance. CONSTITUTION: A composition for covering an electric wire comprises 30-35 parts by weight of natural rubber, 35-45 parts by weight of clay, 5-8 parts by weight of calcium carbonate, vulcanizate, vulcanization accelerator, vulcanization accelerator aid, and antioxidant, and further tackifier, dispersing agent, plasticizer and pigment. The natural rubber is ADS(SP air dried sheets). The vulcanization accelerator uses 0.1-0.4 parts by weight of 2-mercapto benzothiazole, 0.3-0.5 parts by weight of dibenzothazyl disulfide and 0.1-0.15 parts by weight of tetramethylthiuram monosulfide.
