Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a solar cell including two doping steps is provided to protect a protective doping region from an etching media by doping a part of a substrate and applying a sacrificial structure on the protective doping region. CONSTITUTION: One part of a solar cell substrate(1) is strongly doped. A protective region(8) is formed. The non-protective doping region(17) of the solar cell substrate is etched using an etching media. A sacrificial structure(7) is applied on the protective region in order to protect a doping region. The sacrificial structure is composed of glass which is inorganic material. The melting point of the sacrificial structure is between 600 and 800 degree Celsius.
