Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A novel salt of adefovir dipivoxil is provided to ensure same biological and pharmaceutical activity of adefovir dipivoxil and to treat chronic hepatitis type B. CONSTITUTION: A novel salt of adefovir dipivoxil is benzensulfonate, (-)-(L)-lactic acid salt, phosphate, palmitic acid salt or oleic acid salt. A method for preparing the novel salt of adefovir dipivoxil salt comprises: a step of heating adfovir dipivoxil at 30-40°C to dissolve in an organic solvent; a step of dissolving acid in an organic solvent and adding in an adefovir dipivoxil solution and stirring at 30-35°C; and a step of cooling the solution by room temperature or -10 to 5°C and stirring. The organic solvent is isopropanol. A composition for preventing or treating chronic hepatitis type B contains the novel salt of adefovir dipivoxil as an active ingredient.
