Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A composition containing red algae extract mixture and a method for making the same are provided to suppress direct UV irradiation and to recover skin damage through cell regeneration. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 1-30 weight% of red algae extract of Porphyra tenera and Gelidium amansii as an ingredient for UV protection. The red algae are cultured using a photoreactor and light emitting diode(LED). The red algae extract is isolated using purified water, methanol, ethanol, butanol, glycerin, ethyl acetate, butylenes glycol, propylene glycol, dichloromethane, or hexane. The cosmetic composition is an UV protective lotion, cream, emulsion and gel.
