SPINDLE MODULE FOR CNC CARVING MACHINE HAVING A AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER

PURPOSE: A spindle module for a CNC(Computer Numerical Control) carving machine having an ATC(Automatic Tool Changer) is provided to apply an appropriate amount of pressure according to the rigidity of work pieces. CONSTITUTION: A spindle module for a CNC carving machine having an ATC comprises a gear-box(10), a spindle shaft(20), a cover base(30), a pneumatic cylinder(50), a drive motor(60), a driving gear(62), and a driven gear(22). An outer cylinder(12) of the gear-box is fixed to the lower side of the housing. The spindle shaft penetrates through the hole of the upper side of the housing of the gear-box. A chuck module(21) is installed on the lower part of the spindle shaft. The pneumatic cylinder penetrates through the inside of the spindle shaft through shaft holes(31) of the cover base. The drive motor is combined with the top of the gear-box of one side of the pneumatic cylinder. The driving gear is combined in the shaft(61) of the drive motor. The driven gear is combined with the external surface of the spindle shaft by a key(23).
