Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to enable a user to easily confirm the dust removal period by generating dust removal signal when the certain amount of dusts of a dust box reaches a certain level. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes a body(10), a dust box(200), a pressing member, a power transmission unit, a timer, a sensing unit, and an alarm unit. The dust box is installed at the body and allows the detachment thereof from the body. The pressing member is formed at the inner portion of the dust boxy and allows the movement thereof in the dust box. The pressing member compresses the dusts of the dust box, and the power transmission unit transmits power for the movement of the pressing member. The sensing unit resets the time by sensing the movement of the power transmission unit. The alarm unit generates an alarm signal.
