Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for preparing capecitabine using 5'-deoxy-5-fluorocytidine is provided to simplify process by skipping steps of introducing and removing protection group of hydroxy group. CONSTITUTION: A capecitabine of chemical formula I is prepared by reacting 5'-deoxy-5-fluorocytidine of chemical formula II with a compound of chemical formula III at 70-100°C. A reaction solvent is dimethylformamide or dimethylaceteamide. The compound of chemical formula III is prepared by reacting a compound of chemical formula V with a compound of chemical formula IV.
