Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: An embedded system using an approximate lossless image coding method and an image processing method thereof are provided to store more resource image data by compressing images in a loss high compressing method. CONSTITUTION: A transparency bitmap generator(10) generates a transparency bitmap based on the color information of an inputted color image, and a minimum bounding box setting unit(20) sets up a minimum bounding box region including a non-transparency region. A compression unit(30) compresses the transparency bitmap through a lossless compression method. The compression unit performs JPEG(Joint Photographic Expert Group) loss compression on the set minimum bounding box region. A compressed-stream generator(40) generates a compression stream. |
