Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A cock for waterworks is provided to implement a simple structure excluding a handle for opening the cock and prevent the manipulation by a child. CONSTITUTION: A cock for waterworks comprises a body(2) formed on the outlet side of a discharge pipe(1), a water outlet(3) which is formed on the bottom of the body and equipped with a valve, a pusher(5) which pushes up the valve body to a slope(51), and a press(6) which is installed on the leading end of the pusher and protrudes from a protruding pipe(7) installed on the opposite side of the discharge pipe. The press includes a control device which comprises a stopper(8) installed in the press, a stopper receiving part(71) installed in the protruding pipe, and a locking part installed inside the stopper receiving part.
