Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent the generation of noise due to a difference between a positive polarity and a negative polarity data voltage. CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel(110) has a plurality of pixels. The plurality of pixels is defined by the intersection of a plurality of data lines and a plurality of gate lines. An image analysis part(160) analyzes the coincidence of video data and a specific pattern. A polarity control signal modulator(170) modulates a polarity control signal. A data driver(130) supplies a data voltage to the data line of the LCD panel.
