Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition for hair containing pearl-derived protein, phospholipid polymers, or sugar alcohol is provided to enhance volume or elasticity. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for hair contains pearl-derived protein and phospholipid polymers as active ingredients. The composition further contains sugar alcohol as an active ingredient. The pearl-derived protein is a hydrolysed conchiolin protein. The phospholipid polymers are a copolymer of 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine and butylmethacrylate. The phospholipid polymer is polyquaternium-51. The sugar alcohol is xylitol. The composition contains 0.005-10.0 weight% of pearl-derived protein, 0.005-10.0 weight% of phospholipid polymers, 0.001-20.0 weight% of sugar alcohol based on total weight.
