Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A sliding member is provided to maintain the seizure resistance without the decrease of the strength of a resin layer even if a large amount of solid lubricant is contained in the resin layer. CONSTITUTION: A sliding member comprises a resin layer(12) formed on the surface of a base material. The resin layer comprises a resin binder and the solid lubricant of 40% to 60% in volume. The solid lubricant comprises graphite and molybdenum disulfide. The resin binder comprises one or more of polyamide-imide resin, polybenzimidazole resin and polyimide resin. The resin layer comprises one or more of polyethersulfone, polyamide, polyphenylenesulfide and polytetrafluroethylene.
