Zusammenfassung:	[PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED] To solve the problem that a pit cover covering a roller part of a chassis dynamometer accommodated in a pit has an installation area to be installed in the pit and reduces the inside of the pit as a result. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A stopper for closing the pit cover is provided at a position corresponding to a roller top position. In addition, a guide is provided along both circumferential side face positions of the roller on a fixed side of a pit hole, and a pit cover two-divided into the right and left from the stopper position to open/close is provided on the guide. A movable rod of a cylinder is connected with one of sides of the pit cover, and a cylinder body of the pit cover is connected with the other side. The pit cover is structured to open/close along the guide by driving the cylinder.
