Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A device and a method for sensing a fall are provided to prevent an accident by sensing a fall by alarming whether a fall is generated or not to outside. CONSTITUTION: A device for sensing a fall comprises a sensing unit(10), a signal processor(20), a fall determining unit(30), and a warning unit(40). The sensing unit senses a vibration signal through sensors attached on a floor. The signal processor converts the sensed vibration signal into a frequency area and extracts the feature of the converted vibration signal. The fall determining unit determines whether the fall is generated or not. The warning unit generates an alarming signal depending on the determined result.
