Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A line monitor, and a line monitoring method, and an optical network termination device are provided to efficiently monitor the abnormality of optical network termination instruments and the lines between base stations. CONSTITUTION: A reflector(116-1~116-N) reflects the light of a preset wavelength. Light sources(112-1~112-N) are separated from the reflector as a preset distance. The light source outputs the light of the set band to the reflector. Using the light which is incident from the reflector, the light source emits the light of the set wavelength.
