Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for authenticating an open ID is provided to enable a user to easily manage IDs by increasing the availability of the open ID. CONSTITUTION: An open ID user requests authentication to an ID authentication server by inputting the open ID to a site(502). An ID authentication server confirms authentication request information(504). The ID authentication server confirms a password in a second storage area according to the confirmed result(506). The ID authentication server confirms the password(508). The ID authentication server responses the authentication result to a user terminal(510) and confirms the ID/PW mapping information in the first storage area(512). The ID authentication server confirms the password of the open ID of the user in the second storage area(514). The ID authentication server confirms the password of the open ID(516). The ID authentication server informs the user terminal and the service site of the user authentication result(518).
