Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling the power of a nuclear reactor is provided to absorb neutrons without a neutron absorbing unit in a nuclear fuel assembly by including a controlling unit which simultaneously supports the nuclear fuel assembly and absorbs the neutrons. CONSTITUTION: A nuclear fuel assembly is mounted to the core of a nuclear reactor. A controller, which includes a supporter(121) and a neutron absorber, simultaneously supports the nuclear fuel assembly and absorbs neutrons. The neutron absorber is connected to the sidewall of the supporter. A driving unit drives the controller. The driving unit includes driving source and a connecting unit(132).
