ANTENNA WITH SHARED FEEDS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING AN ANTENNA WITH SHARED FEEDS FOR GENERATING MULTIPLE BEAMS

PURPOSE: An antenna with shared feeds and a method for manufacturing an antenna with shared feeds for generating a plurality of beams are provided to secure the position selection of spots which shows the rate between a desired signal and an interfering signal that is an efficient C/I ratio without using a complex beam forming circuit. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of the same individual feeds is separated as much as a set pitch. The feeds are shared in order to generate a plurality of beams. The individual feeds are related to the equal sub-networks(1-7,4-10) around central individual feeds(5,7). Each sub-network is intended to synthesize a beam. The individual feeds of each sub-network are phase-coupled by electromagnetic coupling. Two consecutive sub-networks commonly comprise one or more individual feeds. The consecutive sub-networks are offset by the distance corresponding to a preset number of pitches which is equal to one or more.
