Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A timing chain noise reducing device of a diesel engine is provided to efficiently reduce an operation noise of a timing chain and implement smooth power transmission by efficiently improving a gearing property between a high pressure pump sprocket and the timing chain. CONSTITUTION: A ring type guide of a high pressure sprocket is protruded from an assembly hole(10b) to a radial outer side in an axial direction. An assembly hole(11a) is formed to insert a high pressure drive shaft. A ring type guide(11b) of a timing chain cover is protruded to the radial outer side of the assembly hole in an axial direction. The ring type guide has a larger diameter than the ring type guide of the high pressure pump sprocket.
