RULE-BASED WIRELESS NETWORK OPTIMIZATION METHOD USING VIRTUAL MOBILES

PURPOSE: A rule-based radio access network optimization method using virtual mobiles is provided to perform radio access network optimization based on a virtual terminal and rule, thereby minimizing computational complexity due to the radio access network optimization. CONSTITUTION: A radio access network optimization target area is expressed in a virtual terminal(201). A radio signal strength and SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) at the virtual terminal is predicted(202). A first radio access network optimization is performed by classifying the electromagnetic condition between the virtual terminal and neighbor BS in a non-service position based on a rule(203). The non-service position has reception signal strength lower than a first threshold. A second radio access network optimization is performed by classifying the electromagnetic condition about non-service positions due to SNR lower than a second threshold based on a rule(204).
