Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A self-configuration method for a PLC-based home network is provided to enable a pre-participated node to generate an address in order to supply an address through an address response packet. CONSTITUTION: An address request packet for which a first node requests an address is broadcasted to a home network to be participated. The highest priority second node among the nodes that receive the broadcasted address request packet creates a unique address. The second node creates an address assignment packet including the created unique address. The second node transmits the created address allocation packet to the first node.
