METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING POSITION OF RUDDER EQUIPPED SHIP

PURPOSE: A controlling method of the position of a rudder mounted ship and a position control system are provided to improve the position control capability of the rudder mount ship by controlling helm angle of the rudder. CONSTITUTION: A controlling method of the position of a rudder mounted ship comprises a controller(300), a propeller driving part(302), a side thruster driving part(304), a rudder driving part(306), and a sensor part(308). The controller constitutes a main processor in order to control the position of the ship. The controller distributes the thrust without the thrust component of the rudder. The rudder independently considers and subserviently performs the direction control. The propeller driving part and side thruster driving part run a propeller and a side thrust based on the controller. The driving part more runs the rudder based on the controller. The sensor part measures the position and heading angle of the ship.
