Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A washing machine with a shock detection device, and a method for determining a state of a washing machine using the same are provided to decide whether a washing machine is damaged before the washing machine is installed. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine is composed of a housing, a tub, a drum, and a shock detection device. The tub is formed inside of the housing. The drum is rotatably installed in the tub. The shock detection device is composed of a sensor(110), a memory(120), and a controller(130). The memory stores the quantity of shock sensed from the sensor. The controller receives the quantity of shock. The shock detection device outputs the sensed quantity of shock so that a user can confirm a state of the washing machine outside.
