COMPACT ZOOM LENS

PURPOSE: A compact zoom lens is provided to impellent a wide angel and high magnification, so it is applied to a still camera, a video camera, and a digital still camera. CONSTITUTION: A small zoom lens comprises a first lens group(G1), a second lens group(G2), and a third lens group(G3). The first lens group, the second lens group, and the third lens group are successively arranged from an object(O) to an image(I). The first lens group has a positive refractive power. The second lens group and the third lens group have a positive refractive power. In a wide angle stage, the interval of the second lens group and the first lens group is decreased in changing magnification, and the interval of the third lens group and the second lens group is changed.
