Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a heat exchanger for gas that comprises a metal core (2) including an assembly of parallel ducts (3) for gas circulation with a heat exchange with a coolant, at least one bearing plate (8, 9) laser-welded to at least one end of said assembly of parallel ducts (3), and at least one gas tank (12) or connection member, characterised in that said gas tank (12) or connection member is directly connected to the bearing plate (8, 9) by laser welding or arc welding. The invention also relates to a method for making the heat exchanger.
