FEEDBACK SIGNAL CANCELLING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DIGITAL ON-CHANNEL REPEATERS

PURPOSE: A feedback signal cancelling apparatus and a method for digital on-channel repeaters are provided to minimize the correlation between the output signal and the error signal by removing feedback signal through the feedback channel estimation by the gain disperse matrix. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(110) receives an input signal. The input signal comprises a carrier signal from the external electric wave transmitter and feedback signal. The error signal generating unit(120) creates the error signal from the input signal with the subtraction of the estimated feedback signal. A feedback channel estimating unit(130) calculates the gain disperse matrix through the channel estimated vector. The feedback channel estimating unit renews the channel estimated vector through the gain disperse matrix. A feedback filter(140) presumes the feedback according to the next index through the output signal vector and channel estimated vector.
