Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A flat panel display assembly and a method for constructing the same are provided to improve brightness uniformity of an image displayed by the display device. CONSTITUTION: Multiple light emitting elements(28) are mounted in a substrate(18). At least one diffusion element(32) includes a concave surface(38) and a convex surface(40). At least one diffusion element spreads light emitted from at least one part of the multiple light emitting elements. A diffusion layer(48) is combined to the substrate so that the convex surface of at least one diffusion element is between the concave surface and the diffusion layer. The diffusion layer additionally spread light transmitted through at least one diffusion elements.
