Zusammenfassung:	A pigment composition or pigment dispersion which is suitable for producing the blue pixel parts of a color filter for liquid-crystal displays; and a color filter. The color filter has blue pixel parts which can give a liquid-crystal display combining high contrast, which enables displayed images to be clearer, with high luminance, which enables displayed images to be brighter. The pigment composition or dispersion can give the color filter. Also provided is a dioxadine derivative substituted with a sulfamoyl group having a specific polyalkylene oxide group. The pigment composition or dispersion for color filters is characterized by containing the dioxadine derivative and either a blue organic pigment or a purple organic pigment.
