Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A control method for an air-conditioner is provided to carry out air-conditioning by determining the stabilization of cycle in consideration of discharging temperature and condensing temperature of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A control method for an air-conditioner comprises the following steps. In case a power source is applied, an air-conditioner is controlled in a starting control mode initializing operation state(S1,S2). In case one or more operation variables are detected during the starting control mode and, at least, one among the detected values is over a set range which is stored in advance, the starting control mode is converted into the regular control mode(S3,S5,S4). The regular control mode controls the operation state according to a user's input condition.
