RFID/COMMUNICATION INTEGRATED TERMINAL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFING LOCATION OF MOBILE STATION

PURPOSE: An RFID/communication integration terminal device for the location confirmation of a moving body and a method thereof are provided to acquire location information by RFID positioning technology or a mobile communications module according to the location of a protection target moving body in the inside or outside of a RFID area, thereby minimizing the shadow area of positioning. CONSTITUTION: An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) module(31) transmits a signal for position recognition as a response to the search signal of a RFID reader to the RFID reader. A communications module(32) has a GPS(Global Positioning System) receive function. A controller(33) decides whether a protection target moving body is within a RFID area. In case the protection target moving body is deviated from the RFID domain, the controller controls the communications module to transmit GPS location information from a satellite to a positioning server.
