CONSTITUTION: A novel Bacillus subtilis caubc-1(deposit number: KCTC 11341BP) is salt-tolerant and produces protease. The Bacillus subtilis caubc-1 is isolated from soil. The protease has optimal activation at pH 8-9 and 50-60°C. A composition of protein lysis contains the novel Bacillus subtilis caubc-1(deposit number: KCTC 11341BP) or its culture. The composition is used for contact lens or laundry.
