METHOD FOR DETECTING HIDDEN STATION PROBLEM, TO APPLY AND CANCEL ADAPATABLE RTS/CTS EXCHAGE METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for detecting hidden station problem to apply and cancel adaptable RTS/CTS exchange method is provided to reduce the interval between the hidden station problem occurrence time and the detection time by detecting the hidden station at the time of its occurrence and delivering the detection to the station through NACK. CONSTITUTION: If the current channel state is busy, the first error code informing the hidden station problem occurrence is reported through the NACK(Non Acknowledgement) to the primary station(S708,S710). If the current channel state is not busy, the validity of the received packet data is determined(S711). If the packet data is not valid, it is determined whether the first SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) value is the proper SNR value(S712,S714). The occurrence of the hidden station problem is found. If the hidden station problem is occurred, the first error code informing the hidden station problem occurrence is reported through NACK to the primary station(S717,S718).
