DISPLAY DEVICE USING SOLAR CELLS

PURPOSE: A display device using a solar battery is provided to achieve semi-permanent usability by supplying electrical power into a display device by using a solar battery. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit(31) is composed of a solar battery for converting light energy emitted from natural light or a lighting device into electrical energy. A circuit unit is connected to the power supply unit and drives a display unit. The display unit(30) is connected to the circuit unit and displays a character or a design. A switch operating unit(50) is connected to the circuit unit and drives display operation in accordance with contact states of external switch contact points. A coupling unit fixes the power supply unit, the circuit unit, the display unit and the switch operating unit integrally within an outer frame portion.
