Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An aqueous gel ink composition for a marker pen is provided to prevent mark or smudge on a non-absorbing blackboard, to avoid provocative smell using water, and to ensure excellent storage stability. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an aqueous gel ink composition for a marker pen comprises the steps of: (i) adding 7-13 weight% of water-soluble synthetic resin consisting of melamine resin and urea resin to 35-50 weight% of water and stirring the mixture for 1-3 hours to form a gel composition; (ii) adding 20-30 weight% of color paint to the gel composition and pulverizing the mixture; and (iii) adding aqueous dispersant 4-6 weight%, emulsifier 4-6 weight%, release agent 4-6 weight% and stabilizer 8-12 weight% and stirring the mixture for 1-2 hours.
