Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A plasma display apparatus is provided to improve a contrast characteristic and image quality by controlling a reset discharge. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display apparatus is composed of a first electrode, a second electrode, and a third electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are arranged in parallel with each, and they are crossed with the third electrode. A first driving unit(110) supplies a set up signal rising to the first voltage to the first electrode, and a second driving unit(120) supplies a signal rising to the second signal with the same polarity of the first voltage to the second electrode while the set up signal is supplied. A third driving unit(130) supplies a third voltage with the same polarity of first voltage to the third electrodes while the set up signal is supplied.
