INDEPENDENT COOLING SYSTEM FOR INTAKE AIR AND COOLANT IN VEHICLE

An independent cooling system for intake air and coolant in a vehicle is provided to cool coolant by heat exchange by using a coolant circuit, thereby reducing a volume of the cooling system and a weight of a vehicle. An independent cooling system for intake air and coolant in a vehicle includes a coolant circuit for intake air, a coolant circuit for coolant, a power providing unit, a power intermittence unit, a temperature detection unit and a controller. The coolant circuit for intake air cools intake air provided through an intake air manifold of an engine(10). The coolant circuit for coolant cools coolant circulating in a cooling manifold of the engine. The power providing unit provides power to the coolant circuit for intake air and the coolant circuit for coolant. The power intermittence unit controls power supplied from a power extracting unit to the coolant circuit for intake air and the coolant circuit for coolant. A temperature detection unit detects temperature changes about intake air and coolant in the coolant circuit for intake air and the coolant circuit for coolant.
