Zusammenfassung:A water ionizer and a control method of the same are provided to minimize possibility in which a harmful component is included, and to prevent generation of bad smell and taste of drinking water by discharging alkali water and acid water through a discharge pipe. A water ionizer includes a filter part(130) filtering original water; a flux sensor(140) detecting the amount of the original water; an electrobath generating alkali water and acid water through electrolysis of the filtered water; a faucet(200) connected with an outlet(210,220) and a discharge pipe(170,180) of the alkali water and the acid water; a three way valve(110) discharging the alkali water through the acid water discharge hole; and a control part(400) controlling discharge of remaining water.
