Zusammenfassung:	A digital image processing device and a method thereof using a face recognition function for evenly taking a picture of the different people are provided to display live view image by calculating the number of photography by generating a face thumbnail picture. A face recognizer(39-1) detects individual from images taken a picture with the arbitrary for hour. A facial area calculator produces the face of the detected individual. A face counting unit counts individuals in which the face is over the determined ratio. A face image generator produces face thumbnail pictures of the counted individuals. A controller produces face thumbnail pictures and the number of counted photography times. The calculated live view image is calculated.
