LOW SLUICEGATE BY AIR MAT AND BRIDGE PASSING METHOD OF SHIP USING THE SAME

A low sluice gate by air mat and a bridge passing method of ship using the same are provided to allow ships to pass under a bridge by varying the water level using volume changes of an air mat. A low sluice gate by air mat, which is installed in the water under a bridge and controls the water level to allow ships to pass, comprises a lock chamber, an air mat(111a), a pipe(113a), an air cylinder, and a hydraulic piston(122a). The lock chamber is opened to the upper side, and includes first and second floodgates on both side walls and a through hole(118a) on the front wall. The air mat comprises an air mat hole(117a) to let air flow in and out. The pipe is connected to the air mat hole, and arranged to penetrate the through hole of the lock chamber front wall. The air cylinder let air flow in and out of the air mat through the pipe. The hydraulic piston is installed on the top of the air cylinder and allows the air cylinder to expand and contract.
